A Workout is about the physical. But a Work In is about what we spiritually put into our bodies to grow in God. The aim is for a new generation of healthy Christians who Work In God daily, not just on Sundays.
Work In God is a platform designed to help your Kingdom Work. We know what it is like, being commissioned, filled with a vision and energy for a new project. Yet, at the first building block of finding people to work with, you learn the labourers are few.
You begin to realise the task before you would be easier with a little help. That is where Work In God comes in from Biblical teaching tools (hyperlink to Study) to Community Advice (hyperlink to Stories). We also provide a public directory to help you find the Noah’s and Bezalel’s of today. People who not only say yes but also have the skillset and faith to do God’s work.
Inspire, showcase and build up Kingdom-minded workers; people who work faith into their daily lives.
Whether you are a plumber, fashion designer, journalist, whatever your job title is you are first and foremost a child of God.
You are called to be the light in this world, just like Jesus was, that means in whatever you do, whatever your role or goal, we give God the glory.
We understand the complexities of speaking faith, setting boundaries and choosing values over earthly success. It can be tiring to find other believers who have the time and capability. It can be disheartening to feel overlooked or singled out. It can be hard to say no.
Saying no to new opportunities and turning down projects that don’t seem right or align with your beliefs, is a constant part of maintaining your Kingdom Worker status.
At the end you are left with a sense of justification knowing you did the right thing but if you are being honest with yourself, you also wonder why. Why does it seem that the biggest opportunities given to you are the ones you can’t take?
Now some of you already know the answer to this very small internal “why?” The answer being it is not God’s will for you. So what is? Our guiding scripture Philippians 2:13 tells us in saying, “For it is God who works in us both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”
